Before & After

For these photos I just played with the brightness/contrast to bring the colors out and used a highpass filter to sharpen the image. I am not spposed to correcting an image, just as long as the changes aren't too drastic.

Before & After

For these photos I decided to change the brightness and contrast to bring out the color of the leaves and the branches. I also sharpened the photo so that the detail in the branches would show. I believe the adjustments I made to this photo change & enhance it drastically.

Fill The Frame

I chose this photo because of the detail in the flower.

Leading Lines

I chose this photo because I thought it was a creative way to show leading lines.

Rule of Three

I chose this photo because I like the contrast of the flower on the wood.

This is a photo of a woman sitting next to her phone. I'm assuming that the smoke coming from the phone is a cigarette. I'm also assuming that she is stressing over something. Maybe her boyfriend broke up with her and she's waiting for his phone call. Does that stuffed animal have any significance?
This is a photo of children standing in line to get their food. Is this after a natural disaster? or is it part of their everyday life? I think the photographers motive was to show the poverty in other parts of the world.
This is a photo of baby sea turtles. I chose this photo specifically because I think sea turtles are cute! I'm assuming that these turtles just hatched and they're beginning to start their life in the ocean. I think the photographers motive was to show new life.

This photo is called the "Underwater Circle of Children" I found out that this is part of an underwater sculpture park/museum. In this photo a number of children are chained by the wrists and standing in a circle, but why? I think that this photo symbolizes the struggle and the unity of the children. I wonder what aspirations the artist had when he created this sculpture and why did the photographer take a picture of the sculpture?

This eyecatching photo creates a large amount of contrast. The bright orange and purple color of the seastar stand out against the sand and the foam of the water. I think the authors motive was to capture the bright color & beauty of the star. Where was this photo taken?
